Questions & Answers

Here you will find the answers to the most common questions we receive before a visit to Parken Zoo.

Tickets and admission

What is included in a day ticket?
We use the ”all-inclusive” ticketing system, which means that all park experiences are included in the entrance fee.

We just want to ride roundabouts?
The entrance fee includes free rides on carousels - so just go for it!

We want to visit the Park so much - how do we do it?
In this case, a season ticket is the best option; by the third visit you have ”earned” the purchase!
Season tickets are available in our webshop or at Parken Zoo. Season passes are personal and must be registered before first use. Registration can be done on our website or at the guest service centre. You can choose digital or physical season passes.

Please note: Even season ticket holders need to pre-book their visit on days when booking is required, for example for concerts and singalongs.

How to buy day tickets?
The easiest way to buy day tickets is in our webshop, go to the home page and click on ”buy tickets” You can also buy them on site with us.

Accessibility

What applies to escorts and personal assistance during visits?
A companion or assistant for a guest with a visible or hidden disability will receive free entry upon presentation of a companion/assistant certificate issued by healthcare, municipality, school, or an assistance company.

If you visit us without a certified companion/assistant, another accompanying person may receive free entry upon presentation of a certificate stating your need for a companion/assistant. The companion/assistant must be at least 18 years old. If double assistance is required, this must be stated on the certificate. Certificates older than 3 years may be rejected. Only diagnosis certificates or certificates that do not state the need for a companion/assistant are not valid. We accept certificates issued by healthcare services, the municipality, schools, and assistance companies.

Who can get an accessibility wristband?
To make things easier for you, who have a functional variation that makes it difficult to use our standard queues, we offer accessibility wristbands that give you access to our alternative queues. This must be proven with a certificate stating this information. We approve certificates issued by healthcare, the municipality, schools, and assistance companies.

Is Parken Zoo wheelchair accessible?
The park is constantly working to be as accessible as possible for everyone. The area is relatively ”flat” (although there are some hills). Disabled toilets are available in all the places where we have toilets.

Can I borrow a wheelchair?
We offer a limited number of transport wheelchairs that our guests are welcome to borrow free of charge for the day. The wheelchairs are available from Guest Services. It is possible to pre-book your transport wheelchair before your visit. Pre-booking can be done by emailing info@parkenzoo.se.

Animals and pets

Can we take the dog with us?
No, unfortunately you are not allowed to bring any pets to Parken Zoo, neither to the zoo, the amusement park nor the Parkenbadet.

Service dogs
Service dogs at work are welcome.

Children and family

Are there crutches or prams?

Is there an age limit?
If you are over 15 years old, you are welcome to visit Parken Zoo on your own. If you are under 15 years old, an adult must accompany you.

If someone in the family goes missing?
Contact a member of staff and they will help you. At the Guest Services, there is a call-out service available. A good tip is to ”tag” your child/children with your mobile phone number to make it easier to find ”lost parents”. Stickers are available at the main entrance cash desks.

Is my child too small on the rides?
For safety reasons, some rides have special height requirements. See the applicable height limits under the amusement park tab. Staff are always responsible for our safety rules.
