The campaign is organised by three associations, the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), the European Network of Science Centres and Museums (Ecsite) and Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI), and is about biodiversity.
Biodiversity refers to the different living creatures that one would expect to find in a particular ecosystem.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of what biodiversity means and how everyone can help keep ecosystems healthy for all forms of life, including humans. Park Zoo is naturally participating, and we have placed tips around the park on what you can do to contribute.
