Yesterday, Saturday 26 September 2015, was the last day the amusement park was open for the season! Eskilstuna supporters, which consists of the companies in Eskilstuna municipality (Eskilstuna Energi & Miljö and EskilstunaKommunfastigheter amongst others), wanted to do something extra and invited everyone in Eskilstuna!
17,265 people attended! There were so many people!!!!! Top two in Parken Zoo's history.
We couldn't have dreamt that so many people would come, but despite the queues and crowds, we've probably never met so many happy people at once, and we want to express our huge THANKS!
Thank you to everyone who came – thank you to all those patient people who kindly stood waiting for their turn in all the queues, thank you for all the lovely compliments we received (it means so much when you turn to our staff to thank them and tell them about something nice you have experienced).
Thanks to all the associations that came to showcase their activities – we hope you recruited many new members. Thanks for all the wonderful stage performances. Thanks to our wonderful staff who worked so hard from morning to night.
The biggest thanks goes to the Eskilstuna supporters who made this day possible to carry out – many families got to experience Parken Zoo for the first time thanks to you.
