Today, the Komodo dragons Verner and Nessie were given a roadkill deer to tuck into. It's a shame so many animals die in traffic, so it's good that what can be salvaged is used. By being given whole carcasses to eat, they can feed naturally and use their teeth and muscles properly, and it also takes them much longer.
