More is happening than ever at Parken Zoo. With new owners, major investments, and the biggest undertaking in many years, a summer full of completely new experiences awaits both young and old.
Several new animal species are moving in, four new rides are being opened, and the park is also offering brand-new ways to get up close to the animals. Whether or not you visited Parken Zoo last year, there’s plenty to discover this summer.
The Tivoli has been expanded with four new attractions – and, just like before, all rides are included in the entrance ticket and season pass.

This summer, you’ll get closer to the animals than ever before.
This offers a unique opportunity to experience the animals on their own terms – just a few metres away.

One of the most heart-warming pieces of news this summer is the arrival of our newborn white-cheeked gibbon baby. The species is critically endangered and is found in only three zoos in the Nordic region, making this birth an important contribution to international conservation efforts. During the first few months, the baby is carried close to its mother as the family swings through the treetops – a unique sight that many visitors hope to witness. It is not yet possible to determine whether the little gibbon is a female or a male, as all young are born with beige-coloured fur before later developing their adult colouring

Parken Zoo is home to many of the world’s most fascinating and endangered animal species. Here, you can experience, amongst other things:
Every day, there are also animal displays and feeding sessions where you can learn more about the animals and the park’s important work to conserve endangered species.
Over the past few months, Parken Zoo has undergone a comprehensive transformation. With new owners and significant investments, the park has been developed with more experiences, more animals, more attractions, and an even greater focus on family experiences and conservation work.
In short, there have never been more reasons to visit Parken Zoo than this summer – this year's hottest destination.
