Now that autumn is here and the cold is approaching, it's time for our lemurs to be moved into their warm and cosy winter enclosures. As these enclosures are located a bit further inside the park, they need to be carried there. To ensure they enjoy their transport boxes, we've allowed all the lemurs to explore them over the summer and then gradually trained them to spend time in their boxes at their own pace. As you can see in these videos, it has been very successful, as they can barely wait for us to open the gate. Within seconds, the whole troops are inside, and they sit calmly and securely, eating some tasty treats.
Happy autumn greetings from the lemurs and their trainers!
