Biodiversity is Us is a campaign by the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) aimed at helping us humans understand the importance of biodiversity. Zoos and aquariums affiliated with WAZA have over 700 million visitors each year. That's 700 million people who can make a difference. Using films, social media forums such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, apps etc, the campaign inspires action by showing how we are interconnected and part of biodiversity and what we can actually do ourselves to conserve it.
Parken Zoo is naturally participating in this campaign and will, among other things, conduct visitor surveys, offer inspiration with tips and pictures, run competitions, and much more.
You can't do everything – but everyone can do something!
