On Monday morning, a new chapter began for two of our maned wolf pups and the giant anteater Tor. They have all grown so big that it was time to leave their parents, move out, and start their own families at new zoos. Both the maned wolves and the giant anteater are part of EEP programmes, which are the European Association of Zoos' programmes for the conservation of endangered species.
The female wolves moved to Stuttgart Zoo in Germany and the anteater Tor moved to Martinique ZoThe song is set on the French island of Martinique in the West Indies, where he will go with his new female, Denise.
We have received an initial report from both parks and everything has gone very well. We wish them the best of luck in their new homes!
