The Amur leopard cub, born on June 21st, turned out to be a female and was today named Olga. Today she had her first veterinary examination where she was vaccinated, weighed, sexed, dewormed and microchipped. Although the scales stopped at 4220g, it took two strong keepers to hold her still. Olga was moderately pleased with the examination and was able to return to her mother Takara as soon as veterinarian Marek was finished. It is positive that she vocalised, indicating a healthy and determined cub. Below you will find video clips from the examination. SVT Sörmland's clips and Wildlife clips.
